Contemporary art can be highly diverse, as artists often push the boundaries of creativity with unconventional materials and innovative techniques. At O’Sullivan Conservation, we understand the intricate and diverse nature of contemporary artworks, and we prioritise preserving their originality and the artist’s intent. We approach each artwork with the utmost care and attention to detail, and our goal is to ensure the artist’s vision and intent are upheld.
Our team is well-versed in the unique challenges posed by various contemporary art materials, including plastics, metals, mixed media, assemblages, found objects, time-based media, and digital art. With a deep appreciation for innovation and craftsmanship, we embrace the complexity of conserving contemporary artworks, using innovative and advanced treatment methods.
