Conservation Maintenance Programs are designed to extend the lives of objects or collections, to reduce the risks inherent in display and public interaction, and to ensure that public art continues to express the artist’s intent. Each maintenance program is carefully designed to consider the object’s composition, use, and display or storage environment as well as the client’s needs.
O’Sullivan Conservation has considerable experience creating and implementing customised maintenance programs for indoor and outdoor objects and collections and for both public and private clients. Successful maintenance programs have been developed for industrial machinery as well as for monuments and objects d’art, and they are always established in consultation with the client to ensure every possible angle is considered.
