Join one of Australia’s leading private conservation firms and help preserve the nation’s cultural heritage. At O’Sullivan Conservation, we collaborate with museums, government agencies, and private collectors to conserve everything from historic buildings to sculptures, furniture, and artefacts.

We’re looking for an Assistant Objects Conservator to join our dynamic, supportive team. You’ll work both in our professional studio at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast and on-site across Sydney and regional NSW.

What You’ll Do

  • Hands-on conservation of a wide range of objects and materials
  • Site-based work including sculptures, monuments, and built heritage
  • Evaluate conservation problems, develop solutions and produce practical work and documentation to a high standard

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant qualifications and student or professional memberships (e.g. AICCM, ICON)
  • Hands-on skills as an Objects Conservator, or in an aligned industry. A strong background in metals is viewed favourably
  • Excellent safety, communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel for regional projects
  • Intermediate Microsoft program skills (such as Outlook, Word and Excel)
